We love sharing our transformations here at James Hargreaves Bathrooms and on this one, we worked with a local luxury hotel and spa to spruce up some of their bathrooms.
Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort prides itself on being one of the best places to stay in Lancashire. Boasting private parkland and an award-winning spa, Crow Woods interiors reflect the hotel’s vision of being “effortlessly stylish and beautifully luxurious”.
For these bathroom designs, the hotel simply wanted to refresh the overall looks of their toilets in both The Apartment and The Coppice areas. Using their years of design experience and personal taste preferences, Zoe and Terrie-Anne from the showroom worked to create three spectacular bathrooms. Individually each bathroom is a showpiece, but when taken into the context of the whole hotel they truly fit with the client’s overall vision.
The Apartment bathroom has an overall timelessly classic feel to it. Optimising all the space available, a sleek wall helps conceal the toilet cistern while also providing storage for bath products and on-top storage for plants and towels. The shower bath is a perfect example of versatility within small spaces, giving you the option of both bathing or showering. Helping to make the room look bigger, large, oversized marble tiles are perfectly on trend and give both a feeling of depth of space and luxury. Adding to the airiness of the room the large basin area has an ample basin and space all around for all those luxury essentials. A large mirror boosts the light flow around the room while allowing you to check that everything is perfect before leaving the bathroom. Chrome accessories are the perfect overall finishing touch to this whole bathroom.
The Coppice bathrooms are part of one of the corporate spaces within the hotel. With the ability to hold up to 60 people, both a male and female bathroom needed refreshing. In their 3D designs to create a clear distinction between each bathroom, you can see that different colour schemes were used in the males to the females. This subtle change while keeping the majority of the overall elements the same gives each bathroom a different feel. The male bathroom’s darker elements such as black brassware play on more masculine traits while the brushed brass brassware in the female bathroom is more feminine.
As you can see in the finished bathroom images certain changes were made to the 3D designs to get the end result. Both bathrooms went for the same tiling design of trendy dark herringbone flooring and large cement-style wall tiles; which almost make it seem as if it is one giant tile. Then to differentiate they kept the same colour stylings as in the drawings; brushed brass in the lady’s bathroom and brushed black in the male bathroom. Large circular mirrors above each basin have illumination to give each bathroom a welcoming atmosphere and large portrait mirrors allow for users to check their full appearance. The overall sleek minimalist look of each bathroom complements the feel of the hotel but is also complementary to the desired use of the bathroom.
